John Oliver on Infrastructure

It’s sad, but true, we all have to face the reality that infrastructure is not sexy. That doesn’t mean it can’t be funny, however. John Oliver on his HBO show Last Week Tonight takes on the state of the crumbling infrastructure in the US. There’s a slight bit of adult language, but it’s still a funny segment.

It’s great to see the infrastructure crisis rising to the point where its getting this kind of exposure. The “60 Minutes” segment mention in the segment was also great exposure for the problem. If we can get enough community exposure to the issue the country is facing, it will be easier to garner the political will to make the hard choices and necessary changes.
